- Home teams are responsible for emailing the game results to me the day after the
matches. Please include all set scores for tie break purposes and send them to
jreedyk@vcs.ca
- All league matches will be the best two out of three with the third game to fifteen
(no caps).
- The LAST TIME you play each team in a season will count towards league
standings (couple of teams you only play once). These games are in bold.
- Game times are listed on the schedule. Try to start early if possible. Teams are
guaranteed a 5 and 5 warm up, even if it pushes the schedule behind. Be ready to
go!
- Please bring your own warm up balls and have them clearly marked.
- CVA rules apply.
- A reminder not to change the uniform on the bench. Please go to a change room
- or area out of view.
- Playoffs MUST have two referees for each match (regular season may use one but
- feel free to reserve 2 if you want). Playoff costs will be divided up between teams
based on games played.
- Placing at the end of the season will be determined as follows:
- a) The first criteria is by matches won
- b) In the case of a tie for any position, the tie-breaking procedure is as follows (CVA
rules):

***Challenge Match: Winner of Game 8 can challenge Loser of Game 9 @ 8:30pm if they
haven’t played yet in the playoff round.
o i) The team having the best ratio of won/lost matches, considering matches
between the tied teams, will be ranked higher;
o ii) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering matches played
between the tied teams, will be ranked higher;
o iii) The team having the best ratio of won/lost games, considering all matches of
the round, will be ranked higher;
o iv) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering games played
between the tied teams, will be ranked higher;
o v) The team having the best ratio of points for/against, considering all games
played during the round, will be ranked higher;
o vi) As determined by the Organizing Committee (eg. extra game, toss of coin,
etc.)
